Feature Me Monday

1. What is your name, tell us a little bit about yourself, and what you do.

Hi, I'm Jaime! By day I work in the corporate world, but by night I slip on my pink knitted cape and swarvoski crystal encrusted mask and take the crafty world by storm. I make imaginative, brightly colored toys, journals, and coffee cozies out of string, paper, and glitter and sell them in my Etsy shop, Sparkles and Sticks. I'm happiest when I have a cup of coffee in my hand and sparkly thoughts running through my mind and out my fingertips.

4. Where do you get your inspiration and what keeps you motivated?

"Who knows where thoughts come from? They just appear."
-Lucas, Empire Records

My inspiration comes from a huge mish-mash of paces. Whenever I go somewhere I've never been before (whether its a new street, new country, or new imaginary land via book/tv/etc.) I find something new that makes my brain create a new little sparkly pathway of inspiration. Then, I sort of forget all about what I saw. I might write it down somewhere or "heart" it online, but I toss it out of the front of my mind. Then, if I really love it, it somehow finds its way out when I am shopping for craft supplies or making something.

Coffee keeps me motivated.

5. What are your top 5 favorite blogs?
I Love lots of blogs, but these are some long standing faves:

A Beautiful Mess - by Elsie (who doesn't list this as one of their top 5 fave blogs?!)
EnJOY Design- by Elise Blaha
Pixies and Bears- by Lindsay!
Welcome to the Hellmouth- My favorite Buffy fan site.
Green Wedding Shoes- talk about pretty pictures!

6. If you could only watch one TV show the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Easy question: Friends! I have been watching it since I was in the sixth grade, and I'll still be watching it when I am 80. It's my favorite background noise for when I am crafting or doing other things. In fact, I am watching it as we speak.

Come visit my shop! I'll include a free gift with any purchase you make in the month of April! Just mention "I Heart Lindsay" in the message to seller after you make a purchase.

I hope everyone enjoyed this week's feature, I really enjoyed putting this one together! You really should go check her stuff out, it's so cute!! I bought a coffee sleeve from her a few months ago and LOVE it!!! She is the sweetest and I think just about as organized as I am! Don't forget to leave her some love here and on her blog :)

xoxo,
Lindsay
