★Recipe Wednesday★




Pumpkin-Raisin Bread

Ingredients:
3 1/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground nutmeg
2 1/2 cups solid pack pumpkin puree
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3 cups white sugar
2/3 cup water
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 tsp brown sugar

1.Grease and flour 3 7x3 in pans. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Measure flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and spices into a large bowl. Stir to blend. Add pumpkin, water, vegetable oil, eggs and raisins. Beat until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.

3. Bake approximately 1 hour


This bread recipe is AMAZING! Comes out very moist and sweet! If you are dieting you can always cut out some of the sugar and replace oil with applesauce. The kids love it and hubby can't get enough of it! You will not be dissapointed! If you make it, let me know if you enjoy it as much as we do! This is what it should look like when its done:
