Conflicting Emotions

This morning has been a giant emotional roller coaster. My mom left today and headed home. While we had an amazing time, I feel it went by way too fast. I hate that I live so far away from my family and that seeing them once a year (or longer) is the way it's going to be while living the military life. Thank goodness for Skype. I know this visit is what both of us really needed and I'm very thankful it worked out so she could come! When I came home after dropping her off at the airport, I cried like a baby. I already miss her like crazy! So sad she left, but there are things happening very soon to look forward too, and that's what I need to focus on.

Things that I'm looking forward too:

~Tea Party on Tuesday with some of my favorite girls

~Joseph coming home from 6 month deployment in less than a week

~Date Night

~Thanksgiving

~Christmas

Please pray for safe trips for my mom and hubby to arrive safely home :)

xoxo

I live across the country from my mom (and my entire family) so I totally know how you feel. It's hard. If I'm lucky, I get to see them once a year.

  13. Oh baby, I miss you so much too! I had a blast w/you, just being together. From the craft show, getting my hair done, eating Elk for the first time (having a cute waiter made it even better..lol), to adding me to your weekly tea party, to my favorites :journaling every day, laying around, and laughing. Even got some white stuff falling from the sky!!

Yes and you praying for my flight being delayed worked...got an extra day w/you! Glad I made it back home safely. Sage and Ava were attached to me like glue for hours.
