New, Cute Painting

By my cute, instant BFF Janel. We have been talking for months about her painting me something to hang on my wall. I wanted something that had me and my hubby's saying on it along with some clouds, so it went with the other 2 paintings. I got my painting last week and was overjoyed!! It came out perfect!!!

I was finally able to hang the ones I had sitting on my dresser since July (I wanted to wait until I had the third painting so it was complete) and they look gorgeous in my room above the t.v. Janel matched it perfectly to the other paintings :) Janel is great about offering custom paintings, you can e-mail her or catch her on her blog. 

 I would love a painting from each of my friends somewhere in my house. My friends are my favorite artists. I still have a few friends I need paintings from... *points to YOU* :)

New Paintings + Cupcakes!

First, I wanted to thank everyone that has been so supportive of my last few rough days. I know he is in a better place and that gives me a much more positive outlook. Thank you so much, your words lift up my spirits more than I could ever express.

I did not come up with the open heart design, nor am I trying to claim it as my own. I just put my own spin on it, with my own colors.

I'm excited to share 2 new paintings I made last weekend that were love inspired. I have found painting very therapeutic lately. I feel as if all my worries wash away, with that being said I am already working on something super amazing that will hopefully be finished sometime next week! The paintings are now listed in my Etsy shop!! :)






Today has been a much better day for me, I went and picked up some cupcakes from a cookie shop that I have been craving for days now. It's true, cupcakes do make everything better :) Red velvet with cream cheese icing. I have to say I'm not a fan of icing but this stuff I could eat by the tubful!!! SO AMAZING!!! Here are a few pictures I took of the yummyness :)
