7 Years Ago Today...

I was blessed with this amazing little baby boy, who isn't so little anymore :( Today my Hayden turned 7. So like any other parent I let him skip school and took him to Space Aliens. We ate lots of food, some of us had too much chocolate milk *cough* Kaylee *cough*, played lots of arcade games, ran through the rain, then came home to presents, cupcakes, and games!!

Can we say yum? This is the fantastical desert they brought to him after the ridiculous amount of milkshake and pizza he consumed. It was bigger than his head.. Ice cream, brownies, candy, sprinkles, and much more!

I love you Hayden so much more than I could ever put into words. These past 7 years have gone by too quickly and I wish I could freeze time so you'll stop growing so fast. You have grown into such a handsome, caring, hilarious, free-spirited little man. You will always be my baby boy :)

Best.Day.Ever

So yesterday will go into the history books as one of my best birthdays ever. 

First I'm going to start off with the surprise cake from my mom. She told me the day before to stay home ALL day the next day because something would be arriving. Little did I know it was a cake from my favorite bakery in Oklahoma. I got it in perfect condition!! So funny story!!

Since my mom lives in Louisiana she called my Nana and asked her to go to the bakery to pick it up and have it overnighted to me. Well, before asking how much it was going to cost, my Nana had them pack it all up (which let me tell you is a huge process) and then they gave her the grand total of....... 130$... yea... just for shipping... Keep in mind the cake was only 30$. she could have bought 4 cakes for that! So instead of calling mom to ask her if she still wanted to go ahead with this now 160$ cake, she forked over the money and had it sent off... She felt bad the guy spent all the time packaging it just to say "no thanks that's too much". She then called mom and asked her if she was "sitting down".. Mom says she will laugh at this years from now of course.  and of course I will finish ever single tiny chocolate mouse morsel and enjoy ever bit of it!! Thank you mom and Nana, I appreciate everything you guys did and will enjoy every last bit of it.

So on with my perfect day!!!! I was craving Chinese food so I ordered some for delivery. I kinda sorta went over board and ordered enough for a family of 6. Me and Hayden are the only ones who will eat it... The picture shows not even HALF of what I ordered but lets just say.. we will be eating it for several days. To add insult to injury the delivery guy says "You have bunch of people eat today, yea??" Me.. "uhhhh yep, sure do!"

Next... PREZZIES!!!!!! My Instant BFF, Janel sent me the custom quilt I ordered and had these custom robots made!!!! OH EM GEEE... I am soooo in love with this quilt..  I took a million pictures and somehow narrowed it down to 3 of my favorite...

Ok and now seriously, check out these robots.. Can you tell who is who??? AHHHH!!! I love them so mucho!!! Thank you Janel!! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenny also sent me a FANTABULOUS Birthday package... Umm hello panda amazingness... Look at that wallet!!! Right after I snapped this picture I switched out my LV wallet for this!! I am soooo in love!!!! I'm actually wearing those cutie panda socks RIGHT STINKING NOW!  I even made a birthday video of opening her package but I am way to embarrassed to post it... Love you Jenny!!! Thank you sooo much!!!!

And of course my hubby got me a little something too... The pink instax I've been wanting for months!!!!!! and a ton of film to go with it. Needless to say I've already  gone through an entire pack of film.. and let me tell you it's not as easy taking pics as it looks. Apparently you have to line it up with the lens not the eyehole.. Good to know 4 pictures later right????

Thank you to all my friends and family who made this the most memorable birthday. I really enjoyed the Skype dates, journal chats and all the love I recieved. You guys sure do know how to make a girl feel loved!!!!!! Only thing that could make it even better is if the hubby was here. Next year for sure!!
